If you’re isolating, or want to avoid contact we have delivery options that will work:
Royal Mail - If your parcel is shipping via our Royal Mail service then some size parcels will fit through the letter box, if this isn’t possible then Royal Mail are happy to knock and place the item on your doorstep and step back whilst you collect it. They will not be handing over hand-held devices to capture signatures, meaning the transaction can be contactless. If you’re unable to come to the door they will leave a ‘Something For You’ card telling you where to collect your parcel.
DPD - If your parcel is shipping via our DPD service then you can use the ‘safe place’ option on the DPD website to have your parcel dropped somewhere avoiding contact.
If you’re unable to select a ‘safe place’ option then you can still carry out a contactless delivery. DPD are happy to verbally accept a signature, limiting physical contact with drivers and they are happy to step back whilst you collect the parcel. If you're unable to answer the door to due to illness, please place a note on your front door, instructing where your parcel should be left.
Please note: Due to all non-essential shops now being closed DPD has suspended its Pickup shop service, meaning that all parcels will now be delivered to a home or work address. This also applies to dropping off parcels at Pickup shops for returns.
